Componenta investigates a possibility to issue a preffered capital note The Board of Directors of Componenta Corporation has decided to investigate a possibility to make an offer to the holders of Componenta Finance Corporation to exchange their preferred capital notes in Componenta Finance Corporation to a new preferred capital note to be issued by Componenta Corporation. The preferred capital notes of Componenta Group are at the moment in Componenta Finance Corporation, which is a subsidiary of Componenta Corporation. Componenta Finance Corporation has no distributable funds and thus can not pay the interest on the preferred capital notes for the period of 19 March 2001 -19 March 2002. The Board of Directors of Componenta Corporation will decide on the possible issue of the preferred capital note on 19 March 2002 at the latest. Alexander Corporate Finance Oy acts as an advisor in the investigation.
