Heikki Bergholm to be proposed for Componenta's Board of Directors

Heikki Bergholm to be proposed for Componenta's Board of Directors Shareholders who represent more than 20% of all the company's voting rights have announced that they are proposing to the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on 12 February 2002 that Heikki Bergholm (45) be elected as a new member to the Board of Directors. Mr Bergholm, M.Sc.(Eng.), is chairman of the Board of Directors of J.W. Suominen Group plc and a member of the Board of Directors of Sponda Plc. He has previously been President and CEO of Lassila & Tikanoja Group. Jouko Koskinen (65) has announced that he is giving up his position on Componenta's Board of Directors. He has been a member of Componenta's Board of Directors since 1989.
