Matti Tikkakoski to be proposed for Componenta's Board of Directors

Matti Tikkakoski to be proposed for Componenta's Board of Directors Shareholders who represent more than 20% of all the company's voting rights have announced that they are proposing to the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on 12 February 2003 that Matti Tikkakoski (49) be elected as a new member to the Board of Directors. M.Sc. (Econ.) Tikkakoski has 22 years worked for Huhtamäki Oyj in different international positions, last as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, until 31 August 2002. He has previously been President of Polarcup Group and Executive Vice President, Europe. Olli Reenpää (68) has announced that he is not available when electing board members. He has been a member of Componenta's Board of Directors since 1995.
