Timo Laitinen to be Sales and Product Development Director of Componenta

Timo Laitinen (45), M.Sc. (Eng.), MBA, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Sales and Product Development of Componenta. He will be responsible for the customer interface which is managed through sales and customer management and product development. They are managed on the Group level in business areas which override the legal structures and geographical boundaries. Timo Laitinen will join Componenta on 3 March 2008 and report to Group President and CEO Heikki Lehtonen.

Timo Laitinen comes to Componenta from Sandvik where he has worked in several positions of sales and marketing management, most recently as Vice President, Marketing and sales support in Sandvik Mining and Construction.
