Componenta applies for listing of 2001 option rights on main
list of Helsinki Exchanges

Componenta Corporation is applying to have the 2001 share option
rights listed for public trading on the main list of the
Helsinki Exchanges as from 9 February 2005. There are a total of
445,722 option rights and each option right entitles the holder
to subscribe for one new Componenta Corporation share with a
nominal value of 2 euros. The current subscription price for the
share with the option right is EUR 4.60, which takes into
account the dividend paid for 2002. The share subscription price
is reduced by the amount of the dividends paid before
subscription on the date of record for each dividend payment.

Subscription for shares with the option rights ends on 
31 October 2006. The subscription location for the shares is
Componenta Corporation head office in Helsinki.
