Componenta Pori machine shop and Componenta Nisamo to be consolidated

Componenta Pori machine shop and Componenta Nisamo machine shop will be
consolidated by the end of 2006. The consolidation will ensure the efficiency
benefits and long-term competitiveness to be gained from the larger unit size.

All employees at Componenta Pori machine shop will continue at Componenta Nisamo
retaining their existing employee status. Pauli-Pekka Hirsimäki from Pori machine
shop has been appointed Production Manager at Componenta Nisamo as from 1 January
2007. The employment status of Nisamo employees will be unchanged.

Componenta Nisamo, located in Lempäälä, was founded in 1970 and acquired by
Componenta in 2001. It currently employs 55 people. Componenta Pori machine shop,
founded in 2000, operates next to the Componenta Pori foundry and employs 
13 people.
