Componenta to supply components total worth of EUR 75 million

Componenta has made global agreements concerning the deliveries of ready-
to-install components to two major European manufacturer of heavy trucks.
The first deliveries of the components have already realized. The
delivery amounts will increase gradually until the summer 2005 when most
of the deliveries will be at full speed. The agreements are valid up to
2009 and 2010 and the total value of them will rise to about 
EUR 75 million.

The components will be manufactured at Componenta Pietarsaari, Finland
and Componenta Albin, Sweden. The new orders will increase considerably
the annual production volumes of both units. The supply agreements have a
positive effect on the employment of the Pietarsaari plant as well as
Componenta Albin. In order to ensure the deliveries of the demanding
components Componenta will enlarge the production capacity of the machine
shops in Pietarsaari and Kristinehamn by investing in new production
machines and equipment.

In addition Componenta has been selected as a preferred supplier of a
major European heavy truck manufacturer concerning its future projects.
This selection is of great importance for Componenta whose strategic
target is to be the preferred engineering cooperation partner in cast
components.
