Matti Kivekäs new CFO for Componenta

Matti Kivekäs, B.Sc. (Econ.), (40) has been appointed CFO and member
of the Corporate Executive Team at Componenta Group. He will start
at Componenta on 7 August 2006 and have responsibility for financial
management, treasury and IT management of the Group.

Matti Kivekäs joins Componenta from UPM-Kymmene China and Asia
Pacific, where he has held the position of Vice President, Finance
and IT, located in Shanghai.
