Leading technology solutions business Comstal will be saving businesses a small fortune in 2013, thanks to a revolutionary wireless energy management system which works to reduce energy costs by up to 20%.

The Jarrow based business is working with a world leading manufacturer of wireless energy management systems to create a significant shift in the way business manage their energy consumption. The wireless system can be installed in any size building and constantly monitors and optimises the use of heating and lighting to minimise waste. In large and established building like retail stores, public buildings and even large offices the wireless system is the perfect solution, as the system can be fitted quickly and easily without disruption and the need for rewiring or effecting the existing installation. The results are instant, as the entire system is controlled remotely through software which monitors and maintains the energy consumption. In larger older buildings, this new system is a major leap forward in both how to manage infrastructure, and also enables cost effective site maintenance.

Gary Collins, Managing Director of Comstal commented: ‘This is a great system, as any building can be fitted thanks to the wireless controllers. Our skilled team of installers can survey and install a system within a couple of days and will leave the client with complete control of their energy management.

Comstal have worked with a host of High Street brands retrofitting existing retail sites to take advantage of the system. They are also developing a solution for the public sector. The wireless system can be optimised for any size or shape of facility and the team at Comstal have worked in every environment from small stores to major muliples, and from gyms and open plan buildings to office and even car dealerships. The benefits of a flexible wireless controlled system is that we have a range of options and so there is an easy solution to even the most complex arrangement of buildings and environments.

Gary Collins continued: “We understand that the effects of austerity in the public sector, especially across the North East is putting a major strain on resources. After installation, we believe that the wireless energy management system can reduce a buildings running costs for heating and lighting easily by 15%, which in many public buildings and for local authorities equates to thousands of pounds of savings. This system delivers environmental benefits through a reduced carbon footprint, and has no impact on delivery or quality of service. Most importantly this system delivers immediate savings, which are essential now. We are talking with a number of local authorities about how this system can be installed across a range of sites.’
