The Webby Awards, which recognizes the best the Web has to offer, will honor winners and honorees at a star-studded ceremony at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday, May 21. Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), The Webbys shine a spotlight on those driving creative, technical and professional progress on the Web. The New York Times describes these awards as the "Internet's highest honor."
ITA CityLIGHTS awards are presented to an individual or business that actively and consistently supports the growth of the Illinois technology industry through demonstrated collaborative involvement that brings a spotlight on the community. The CityLIGHTS award winners will be announced on May 3 followed by a gala on May 10 in the Great Hall at Chicago Union Station.
