Gothenburg, Sweden – May 4th 2023 – Consilium Safety Group is entering Oman with its fire and gas safety technology. Fulfilling its commitment by providing customers with the closest possible support.

Located on the southeastern coast of the Sultanate of Oman, with views of the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, the Port of Duqm is quickly becoming a significant part of the maritime environment and a major hub for drydocking in the Middle East.

– We see great potential in the Oman region and establishing operations here will bring us even closer to our customers, says Manu Potty, Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa region at Consilium Safety Group.

The travel restrictions of the pandemic highlighted the need for access to service providers and expertise locally. Manu Potty indicates that there is a high demand for local partners that can provide quick service and reliable fire and gas detection systems.

Being present locally is highly advantageous to our customers, as they value access to local expertise and service providers, says Manu Potty.

Consilium Safety Group has with its presence in Oman expanded its network of offices to 25 countries located across all times zones and provides fire and gas safety services and products worldwide.

– Entering Oman is an important part of our growth journey. We have seen an increasing demand in this region, and I am confident that establishing an office there will have a positive impact on our customer relations in the area, says Marcus Andersson, CCO at Consilium Safety Group.
