Coor awarded gold rating by EcoVadis

Coor has been awarded the gold rating in EcoVadis’ annual international rankings. EcoVadis is an independent analyst that provides annual sustainability ratings for companies.

The gold rating from EcoVadis places Coor among the top 5% of global companies in terms of its CSR work.

“We’re very proud to have achieved a gold rating in EcoVadis’ review and consider it recognition of our far-reaching commitment to sustainability,” commented AnnaCarin Grandin, President and CEO of Coor.

The rating was awarded following an extensive review of Coor’s work. EcoVadis’ assessment is based on 21 criteria in the areas of environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The method is based on international CSR standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.

The fact that this progress has been confirmed by the framework adopted by EcoVadis shows us that we’re doing the right things. What EcoVadis’ gold rating means:

Structured and proactive sustainability work. Engagement, policies and concrete measures on major issues with detailed implementation information. Significant sustainability reporting relating to measures and results indicators. The gold rating from Ecovadis places Coor amongst the top 5% of global companies in terms of its CSR work.
