Coor one of the first companies in the Nordics to adopt new ISO standards
Coor is one of the first companies to obtain certification by DNV GL in Sweden according to the new international standards for quality and environmental management, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
The international ISO standard was revised in 2015. The new standard implies a sharper focus on leadership responsibility, risk management and sustainability. The standard is also more service oriented and has a more pronounced social and environmental perspective.
”Coor has a sharp customer focus and systematically implements improvements and innovation, and our approach correlates closely with the requirements in the new ISO standards. The fact that we were able to adopt the new standards so quickly shows that we conduct our operations in a structured and responsible manner,” commented Mikael Stöhr, CEO and President of Coor.
Coor has global certification that encompasses the entire group.
“We’re proud to award Coor this certification as one of the first operators on the market. Coor has also followed our best practice procedures during the transition, implementing gap analyses, training and workshops in partnership with us. The new standards have implications such as an increased focus on a risk management. Coor has made some adjustments, and now meets the requirements of the standards,” commented Cecilia Thor, Operations Manager at DNV GL.
