Coor secures new restaurant assignment from the Danish Tax Agency
SKAT, the Danish tax agency, has conducted a four-phase tender for restaurant operations at its Danish offices. These assignments are located in Jutland and Fyn. Coor won the tender with its FOOD by Coor concept.
Coor will be operating SKAT’s restaurants in Middelfart, Odense, Horsens, Tønder, Ringkøbing, Herning, Aarhus, Aalborg and Hjørring from April, 1. Some 3,000 SKAT employees will be enjoying FOOD by Coor’s delicious, healthy and sustainable selection of lunches and conference meals.
The deal with SKAT has a four-year term with a two-year extension option. The estimated yearly volume is some SEK 25 m.
“To have won these major restaurant deals on Jutland and Fyn is a great honor. SKAT based its selection on defined criteria— good and innovative meal selection, effective and safe working processes, competitive pricing, and especially, good references. The fact that FOOD by Coor has very satisfied customers was decisive to this assignment,” commented Søren Kanne, Divisional Manager at Coor in Denmark.
All SKAT restaurants will have bronze ecological certification, which means 30-60% of raw materials are organic.
“This assignment means we secure a strong presence in Jutland, a strategic growth region for Coor Denmark. Coor is recognized as a skilled provider of IFM solutions for large customers, but we also want to grow in single service segments, like cleaning, restaurants and hard FM,” added Jørgen Utzon, President of Coor Denmark.
