Coor has signed a two-year agreement with Platzer Fastigheter AB. The agreement implies that Coor will deliver technical and administrative hard facility management (FM) and associated services to the recently acquired property holdings in Arendal and Torslanda near Gothenburg.

Platzer is one of Gothenburg’s largest and a leading property company focusing on commercial properties, mainly offices. The acquisition of properties from AB Volvo complements Platzer’s property portfolio with new geographical areas and the new Logistics segment. Platzer owns and develops properties with total floor space of around 807,000 m2. The agreement is worth some SEK 30 m annually.

“We’re delighted to be signing this agreement with Platzer for the continued delivery of hard FM services and maintenance of the holding acquired from AB Volvo. We hope to develop our relationship with Platzer through additional future commitments,” commented Anders Palmquist, Contract Manager and Associate Business Area Manager at Coor in Sweden.

The assignment involves technical and administrative hard FM services, inspection, maintenance, preventative maintenance and projects, and complements other similar deliveries in these geographical areas. The delivery encompasses 4 proerties with some 50 buildings with total floor space of 367,000 m2, as well as maintenance of outdoor areas in Arendal and Torslanda. Delivery will start with immediate effect. The largest tenants are companies in the Volvo group, which rent just under 50% of the floor space. Other tenants include DFDS, Plastal, Tibnor and Damco.

“It’s exciting and stimulating to be starting our new agreement with Coor as technical manager in Arendal and Torslanda. Pinning down all the different parts of the agreement in a short space of time was an intensive process, but we’ve done it together and our partnership has come off to a good start,” commented P-G Persson, President and CEO of Platzer Fastigheter.
