Coor signs new agreement with Equinor
Since 2014, Coor has delivered facility management services to Equinor. Equinor has now chosen to prolong its cooperation with Coor by signing a new agreement relating to service delivery to Equinor’s production sites. The agreement spans five years with an option to extend it for a further three years and has an annual contract value of some SEK 300 M including Coor’s estimate of annual variable volumes. The new contract applies from 1 November 2021.
The agreement means that Coor is responsible for delivering and developing a number of services to Equinor’s staff employed at the company’s production sites. This includes cleaning, restaurant, janitorial and internal services, camps and operational HSEQ. Coor has just under 200 staff under the contract.
“We are delighted that Equinor has shown us their renewed confidence. The Equinor assignment is one of the Nordics’ most exciting and stimulating IFM assignments, and the fact that Equinor has chosen to extend the agreement confirms our strong position in both Norway and the Nordics as a whole,” AnnaCarin Grandin, CEO and President at Coor commented.
The decision is followed by a two week appeal period. The tender process is regulated by the Norwegian ”forsyningsforskriften”.
In addition, Coor has recently signed a collaboration agreement with Equinor relating to housing services, which entails service delivery for the housing Equinor provides for its staff working on location. The new agreement spans a 16-month period starting 1 November 2021, and has an expected annual value of SEK 40 M. Equinor has an option to extend the housing agreement for a further 12 months.
