Coor signs new agreement with Hemsö Fastighets AB
Hemsö Fastighets AB conducts regional procurement procedures for the technical operation of its entire Swedish property portfolio. The aim of the procurement procedures is to harmonise and standardise the technical operation and to enhance efficiency and quality by reducing the number of suppliers.
Hemsö previously had agreements with a number of different suppliers and managed certain aspects of the technical operation itself. There was considerable interest among suppliers in the procurement procedures. The agreements that have been signed extend for three years and take the form of function contracts. Hemsö’s main focus in these new function contracts is customer satisfaction, energy issues and ongoing improvement initiatives. For Region East, Hemsö selected Coor Service Management AB.
“Throughout the procurement phase, Coor clearly demonstrated how they will use a structured approach to measure customer satisfaction, continuous improvements and energy efficiency in order for us to jointly achieve more satisfied tenants. Coor has specialized expertise in hospital operations and with several hospitals in the project portfolio Coor will be able to help Hemsö in a good way in Region East,” says Rikard Nyhrén, Head of Asset Management at Hemsö.
“We are naturally delighted and proud of the confidence Hemsö has shown in us and our operations. We see this assignment as proof that our focus on high-quality, flexible services and our dedication to sustainability and satisfied tenants is the right approach. We are pleased to call Hemsö our customer and are confident that we will not let them down. We look forward to starting up our delivery to Hemsö and hope for a long cooperation and partnership,” says AnnaCarin Grandin, President Coor in Sweden.
The contract comprises approximately 60 properties with a total area of 350 000 m2 and the maintenance of the outdoor environment in the Stockholm area. The contract will start in April 2017.
