Coor signs new IFM agreement with the Danish Police
Coor has signed a new six-year Integrated Facility Management (IFM) agreement with the Danish Police, Public Prosecution Authority and Prison and Probation Service. The assignment will start in September 2019 and has a total value of some SEK 2.5 Bn over the contract term.
The assignment on behalf of the Danish Police means that Coor will deliver restaurant services, cleaning, operations and maintenance to the Danish Police, Public Prosecution Authority and Prison and Probation Service across their about 450,000 m2 property holding in Denmark.
Coor has collaborated with the Danish Police since 2012. The new contract also includes the Public Prosecution Authority and Prison and Probation Service in Denmark. The contract, which comprises subscriptions and variable volumes, will increase by some SEK 150 m and is estimated to be worth over SEK 420 m annually in total. The contract runs for six years with an optional extension of an additional three years.
“This new IFM assignment implies continued positive growth for Coor in Denmark. The contract with the Danish government consolidates our position as the Nordic market leader in IFM,” commented Mikael Stöhr, President and CEO of Coor.
The Danish government’s decision is followed by a two week standstill period, during which unsuccessful bidders can challenge the decision.
