Georgetown Studio Offers Beginner to Advanced Yoga Classes and Teacher Certification
Washington, D.C. – CorePower Yoga, a yoga brand with a commitment to making yoga accessible to all, opened its first studio in Washington, D.C. on Friday, March 29th. Located in the popular Georgetown neighborhood just off M Street NW, the Georgetown yoga studio joins the recently opened Bethesda, Maryland yoga studio as the second CorePower Yoga studio on the East Coast.
The Georgetown studio will offer a variety of yoga class styles for all levels, including CorePower Yoga’s dynamic heated Power Yoga in beginner to advanced formats, Yoga Sculpt, and Hot Power Fusion. In addition to classes, the Georgetown studio will offer Yoga Teacher Training Programs, as well as Lifestyle Programs, such as boot camps and wellness programs to complement yoga and provide students with cross-training opportunities.

The Georgetown studio is home to two beautiful yoga rooms and features a range of amenities including changing rooms, showers, and private lockers. A full retail boutique will showcase men’s and women’s active wear, as well as yoga and lifestyle accessories.
Students who are new to CorePower Yoga will receive one week of unlimited free yoga classes. A variety of membership package options are also available.
Georgetown, located at 1055 Thomas Jefferson Street NW, is one of several CorePower Yoga studios to open in 2013. In addition to the Georgetown studio, the Encino studio in Los Angeles opens today, which will be followed by two more Los Angeles studios later this year (Hollywood and Studio City). CorePower Yoga opened its 14th Chicago area studio in the Streeterville neighborhood on March 22nd, which will be followed by two more Chicago studios later this year (West Loop and Hyde Park).
