Representatives of security specialist, Corps Security, have been collecting money up and down the country for the Royal British Legion this year.

Wearing the ‘full shout’ uniform of the Corps of Commissionaires, some of the team are seen here collecting outside Farringdon station near the company’s London HQ.

The Corps of Commissionaires was founded in 1859 as a way to provide gainful employment for ex-servicemen returning from the Crimean War.  Nowadays over 55% of its workforce is ex-military so the company has a strong allegiance to the armed forces.

According to CEO, Peter Webster: “We are always pleased to do as much as we can at this time of year to remember those we have lost and to help those who have served or are currently serving their country”.
