Songwriter, producer, DJ and musician Kevin Fingier is the latest addition to the Cosmos Music Publishing family. Kevin is the first Latin American signing for Cosmos.

Kevin Fingier is one of the founders of the Buenos Aires Soul Club and has been promoting Northern Soul and Early Reggae in Argentina for more than 10 years. As a musician and producer, Kevin has worked with reggae legends such as Derrick Harriott, Pat Kelly, The Cimarons and soul singers such as Gerri Granger.

After many years as a DJ and promoting the Soul and Mod culture in Argentina, Kevin decided to start steering his career towards the producing and recording of vintage Soul, Funk, Mod Jazz and R&B records. In order to achieve this he started an in-house band called The Kevin Fingier Collective. Here he experimented with recording techniques used fifty years ago to get that particular analogue 1960’s sound completely right.

In 2019 he released some new work with his Argentinian band Los Aggrotones on Acid Jazz Records. And after this great initial success, Kevin brought back the legendary US Northern Soul 60’s singer Gerri Granger out of retirement for yet another critically acclaimed release; Don’t Wanna Cry No More, which was widely embraced by the international Soul scene and had the cinematic Mod Jazz, Sunglasses After Dark, as a B side.

Next up are more original releases on his very own label - but now with the added support from Cosmos Music Publishing as the proud publisher of all original works by Kevin Fingier.
