The State Line Restaurant 2011 Free Live Music Series

Series has raised more than 4,250 pounds of food for the West Texas Food Bank           

The popular “Rudolph Chevrolet-Honda-Mazda 2011 Live Music Series at The State Line,” benefiting the West Texas Food Bank, returned to the stage on Wednesday, April 20.

Now on its sixth year, the music series offers a showcase of music from rockabilly to traditional country and everything in between, including nationally known country bands and up-and-coming artists.

The free music concerts benefiting the West Texas Food Bank are held every Wednesday night from 8 - 10 p.m. through August 31 at The State Line Bar-B-Q restaurant at1222 Sunland Park Dr. (just past Doniphan) in westEl Paso. Concerts are held rain or shine.

“The State Line is looking forward to another successful year of bringing top names in Texasmusic to our customers for free, while helping a very meaningful organization such as the West Texas Food Bank,” says Mike Shahan, General Manager, The State Line.

August 17                   Del Castillo

August 24                   Jason Boland

August 31                   Radio La Chusma

The live music series is free; however, all who attend are asked to make a food or monetary donation to the West Texas Food Bank. The 2010 music series raised more than 874 pounds of food for the Food Bank; in the history of the series it has raised 5,946 pounds of food in the past five years.
