Caravan insurance specialist makes it easier to get online quotes
Caravan insurance specialist Cover4Caravans.co.uk has updated their choice of storage locations for tourers, making it even easier for customers to get an immediate quote online.
Touring caravan owners can now get immediate quotations for tourers stored on a:
- friend’s or family member’s driveway (previously only quoted for their own driveway online);
- military base;
- non-CaSSOA caravan storage site.
Previously, owners of ‘vans in these circumstances seeking an online quote would have their quotation ‘referred’. This meant that an online quotation wasn’t available and the customer would be called back by one of the Team in order to calculate the insurance quote.
Richard Burgess, Director at Cover4Caravans, explains: “Our aim is to provide a first class service to our customers whether they are getting a quote online or speaking to us on the ‘phone.
“This update means that our online caravan insurance quotation facility is quicker for more of our customers. This isn’t about minimising the interaction our customers have with our Team, but making the whole process smoother and easier for tourer owners who store their ‘vans at what were considered non-standard venues.

Mr. Burgess also added that caravan owners can now also enjoy lower priced insurance cover with discounts included for:
- touring Caravan owners who have owned a Touring Caravan for more than a year – recognising you are better at towing than a new owner;
- the introduction by some panel members of up to 10% off the previous rating.
