Cornwall cited ideal destination for first time caravanners
A new study* has named Cornwall as the ideal destination for people taking their first caravan holiday. The poll - carried out by caravan insurance specialists Cover4Caravans – asked: If someone who had never been on a caravan holiday was planning a visit, where would you take them?
14% of their customers said they would take friends to Cornwall.
The research also reveals that:
- Devon would be the second most popular destination getting 8% of the votes;
- The third ideal first timers destination would be Wales (7%);
- Norfolk and Scotland both got 5% each making them the fourth most preferred destination.
Cornwall has consistently been voted the best destination by (different) Cover4Caravans clients this year, being named as the most romantic destination (beating Paris and Venice), as well Brits’ favourite childhood holiday place.
