Don’t get frozen out of making a claim says insurance provider

Insurance specialist Cover4Caravans.co.uk is warning owners of static homes to make sure they comply with the winter weather conditions of their static caravan insurance policy – otherwise, they could see a claim rejected.

“While policy conditions may vary between insurance providers, most will demand that the water and central heating systems are drained during the closing of the site over the winter months” comments Director, Richard Burgess.

He adds: “Some policyholders may be unaware that there are certain conditions they need to meet as part of their static caravan insurance contract. It is imperative therefore, that they fully understand their obligations that they need to fulfil in order to not void their policy, as well as any policy exclusions”.
