SINGAPORE – 26 September 2012 – ZiiLABS, a pioneering media processor and platforms company (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd) today announced that its ZMS StemCell media processor and customised Android software lie at the heart of 3M’s recently launched MP220 mobile projector. The ZMS processor was chosen for its flexible video technology that enabled the easy integration and support for 3M’s advanced light engine and video in and out requirements.
The ZMS processor’s advanced media, application and power management features coupled with ZiiLABS’ expertise in customising Android contributed to this ZMS processor design-win. These capabilities combined to help 3M deliver a ground-breaking, 65-lumen mobile projector with an easy to use Android interface and smart application software for projecting office documents, photos, video and music.
