The trending destinations, category is for the locations that showed the greatest year-over-year increase in a combination of positive TripAdvisor traveler reviews and ratings for accommodations, restaurants, and things to do. Dubrovnik made it into the top 10 as number 5 while Split was number 13. On the Top Destinations for Outdoors Enthusiasts – World the Croatian Plitvice Lakes National Park made it number 22.
