“MAC DADDY & THE LOVERS” COMING TO DVD – FEBRUARY 10, 2015
LOS ANGELES, CA – January 27, 2015 – MAC DADDY & THE LOVERS, a unique romantic comedy regarded as the male version of SEX AND THE CITY with a bit of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER mixed in, will be released on DVD February 10, 2015. The DVD will be available for purchase at all major online retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble and more. This award-winning film (Golden Reel Award at the 2013 Nevada International Film Festival) is being called “A laugh-filled comedy with a very important and powerful message!” The film is written and directed by Mac Jay, who also stars in the film. MAC DADDY & THE LOVERS is produced by Novell Productions and is being distributed by Fenix Pictures. This independent feature film is Not Rated and has a 98-minute run time.

Synopsis: Mac Giani (Mac Jay) is a notorious ladies’ man who takes pleasure in seducing women and making them fall in love. Well-skilled at breaking hearts, his legendary status earns him the respect of two friends, Franco Rossi (Mario Novell) and Bobby Belmundo (CJ Natoli), whom themselves experience the hardships of falling in and out of love, and become jaded about finding true love. In a twist of fate, their teacher becomes the student, as Mac unexpectedly falls in love with the beautiful, intelligent and sophisticated Sophia Marceloni (Jackie Moore), and must now confront his dark past in order to save his dismal future.
This light-hearted comedy takes a look at the modern (and often jaded) dating world, and puts a fun and humorous spin to it, that will appeal to everyone. The film centers around the message of how powerful the force of true love is.
