During Fall selling season, Bay Area luxury realtor shares how to close with success on distant properties

San Francisco, California – September 30, 2015 – During the Fall real estate selling season, many sales are missed because the owners are unable to be at the property to prepare and sell their home. Nicole J. Needham, Bay Area luxury realtor, insists that this does not have to be the case.

“There are many reasons you may need to sell your home and it may not always be a convenient time especially if the owners have already moved or are out of state.  Rather than missing the market, the best solution is to sell remotely, which is not only possible, but can be incredibly easy. The key is finding a real estate agent you trust to handle everything.” Needham says. “They’ll handle cleaning, staging, and selling the house so you don’t have to be there.”

Of course, selling a home takes preparation. Once the owner’s personal items have been moved out, the rest can be left to the agent.

“I have an arsenal of tools and contacts that allow me to stage a home for the seller so that a prospective buyer sees a clean, well appointed home; but one that still allows a buyer to imagine their own furniture and style thus allowing a buyer to envision themselves living there.”

If you do sell remotely, Needham stresses the importance of keeping tight communication with your agent, “Your agent is your first point of contact. If you are proactive and relay information to your client and vise-versa, then you can achieve a successful transaction without accumulating MLS days.”

Nicole J. Needham can be reached in the Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty office at 10 Beach Road, Belvedere, CA 94920, 415.309.5025. Her email address is nicole.needham@sothebysrealty.com. For more information and listings, please visit www.nicolejneedham.com
