Marin County luxury realtors looking forward to successful 2016 after closing record-breaking year

After a landmark year in the Bay Area real estate market, luxury realtors Bill Bullock and Lydia Sarkissian have emerged as market leaders in Marin County and are looking forward to continued success in 2016. The team set a new record of high price-point home sales in a single year, handled the sale of former San Francisco Giants’ pitcher Barry Zito’s home, and wrapped up the year selling $122 million in 2015.

Bullock and Sarkissian sold four homes over $10 million in 2015 alone – doubling the previous number of high price-point homes sold by any agent or agent-team in the county in a single year. Having been at the top of the Marin real estate market for years, the team has a track record of leading the luxury market.

“In 2005, five homes sold over $10 million, a Marin County record that stood for ten years,” Bullock said. “Last year seven homes sold in Marin for over $10 million, and Lydia and I had the good fortune to represent four of these seven homes.”

In addition to setting records, Bullock and Sarkissian represented the high-profile sale of Barry Zito’s Kentfield home. Representing celebrities in major property transactions is just part of the job when working with high-end homes in a place like Marin.

“Marin is one of the most beautiful places in the world to live,” States Sarkissian. “We’ve been seeing many people moving here from San Francisco or moving in from across the country and around the world. We’re at a point where inventory is low but demand is only growing – we’re anticipating 2016 will be another exciting year in Marin real estate.”

With an astounding total sales of $122 million, these real estate industry leaders – operating as the Bullock Sarkissian team under Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty – have concluded 2015 as a milestone year for both the Marin market and the worldwide luxury real estate market. With a major year under their belt, the team is gearing up for the start of spring selling season in what is projected to be another banner year for real estate.
