Final ministerial approval of the four year Manja license extension
Crown Energy AB (“Crown Energy”) are pleased to inform about the obtained ministerial approval regarding the extension of Block 3108 Manja in Madagascar.
November 3, 2016, Crown Energy informed about the agreement with OMNIS, the oil and gas regulatory body of Madagascar, to extend the exploration period for 4 years until 15 November 2019. The agreement was subject to a ministerial approval, which now is obtained.
The four year period is divided into two consecutive two year phases. The work programme during the first two year phase will consist of an FTG survey (Full Tensor Gravity) over the block, followed by optional 2D seismic. The second two year phase will contemplate drilling of the first exploration well.
