CSC expands content charging solution based on the MediationZonetm product at Tele2 to include the Danish market Stockholm, September 8, 2003 - Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) has successfully implemented an expansion of the Content Charging Solution based on the MediationZonetm product from DigitalRoute to support Tele2´s wireless customers in Denmark. CSC and DigitalRoute initially implemented a content charging solution based on the convergent mediation platform MediationZone from DigitalRoute in a joint effort in 2002 for the Swedish market. During the fall of 2002 this solution was extended to include processing of MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) events. In late 2002 the solution was further expanded to support Tele2's wireless customers in Norway. The successful rollout of the content charging solution continues and now includes support for Tele2's wireless customers in Denmark. The solution supports billing of end customers (wireless, fixed line, internet) for content services, such as ring tones and pictures, provided by 3rd party content providers. An example of capabilities of the platform is to perform real-time charging and customer validation for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
