CSC SIGNS $63 MILLION IT OUTSOURCING CONTRACT WITH SAS BRAATHENS EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Nov. 12 - Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has signed an information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement with leading Norwegian airline SAS Braathens. The eight-year contract, which has a four-year base period, a two-year option and two one-year options, is valued at approximately $63 million (NOK 400 million) if all options are exercised. SAS Braathans is a subsidiary of SAS Group. The new agreement follows the award of a $1.5 billion IT outsourcing agreement to CSC from SAS Group in December 2003. Under the terms of the new agreement, CSC will provide SAS Braathens with a variety of services, including consulting, systems integration, application development and maintenance, and infrastructure support. Approximately 40 SAS Braathens employees are expected to transfer to CSC in Norway on Dec. 1.
