Be Smart. ConnectSmart
ConnectSmart restaurant solutions by QSR Automations delivering better customer service, enhanced food quality and increased profits
Stand 755, Hospitality 2013, Jan 21-23, NEC Birmingham
As more and more restaurateurs accept the huge benefits that restaurant automation can deliver, the ConnectSmart® solution by QSR Automations® will be on display at Hospitality 2013. The package connects the restaurant together - EPOS, reception, waiters, chefs, management and bar - to deliver an advanced restaurant automation system for UK restaurateurs. The ConnectSmart range is marketed and serviced in the UK by hospitality software and communications specialist Call Systems Technology (CST).
QSR’s ConnectSmart package ensures customers receive a high standard of customer service and top quality food, whilst all areas of the restaurant are run to optimum effectiveness. By speeding up service and reducing wastage, the system delivers significant cost savings and enables tables to be turned more effectively.
ConnectSmart Kitchen (CSK) software helps chefs determine which food items to focus on and how to prepare those items, taking into consideration prep times of each dish on a particular order, so that all items for the table complete at the same time. Screens at each chef’s station, with vivid, easy-to-understand graphics, present staff with all the information they need when and where they need it.
CSK delivers faster and more effective kitchen preparation and delivery, enhanced food quality, reduced waste, reduced working stress and saves labour costs. These benefits translate to the customers as they receive better quality food and faster service.
ConnectSmart Hostess table management software can be linked directly with the CSK or used stand alone, to accurately predict table waits and show the up-to-the-minute status of each table’s order. Optional extras allow it to handle reservations along with online wait lists and bookings.
The Hostess screen keeps everyone fully informed about what is going on, staff can tell at a glance what is happening and what stage the tables are at, so that the customers receive a high standard of customer service and tables can be turned effectively.
Also on show at Hospitality is ConnectSmart TeamAssist, an advanced restaurant recipe viewer software solution. With TeamAssist, not only can training be easily and clearly presented, but graphical information is available via touch screens, whenever and wherever it’s needed, maintaining food quality and consistency, whilst refreshing staff knowledge and reducing potential problems.
TeamAssist allows chefs to easily call up quick reminders and check how a dish should look if they haven’t prepared it for a while. TeamAssist also offers multi language support so staff whose first language is not English can benefit from the training and reference library.
