Nyköping, Sweden, April 24, 2007, – Fokker Services B.V., based in Holland, has ordered CTT Cair™ System to be installed in one Airbus A319 VIP aircraft. The installation will be performed during spring/summer 2007.

Cair™ is focused on the passengers’ health and comfort by providing humidification of the extremely dry aircraft cabins without condensation. Cair™ gives a pleasant relative humidity of 25%, compared to 3-5% without, for the passengers, thereby reducing dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases).

“The market for VIP aircraft has been developing very well the last couple of years and so has our sales in this segment” says Torbjörn Johansson, President of CTT Systems. “This order is very important for us as it is the first with Fokker Services, who now is gearing up to become a major VIP completion Center, and also important due to the fact that it’s the second A320-series VIP aircraft Cair™ order in a short time,” continues Torbjörn Johansson.

The Cair™ system is based on evaporative cooling technology. Besides being extremely energy efficient, Cair™ uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria within the aircraft. The dual-purpose system increases humidity for greater comfort and incorporates the Zonal Drying™ System to counter condensation problems.

CTT’s Zonal Drying™ System has been selected as standard for the new B787 “Dreamliner” and CTT’s humidifiers are options in crew rest compartments and on flight deck. The A380 offers CTT’s humidifiers as option in crew rest compartments.
