CTT SYSTEMS AB (“CTT”), the market leader of aircraft humidity control systems, announces Inflight Humidification VIP system order from Jet Aviation for one Boeing BBJ787. This completion will feature increased humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from four humidifiers. This award is CTT Systems’ 93rd Inflight Humidification VIP order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.

Scheduled IFH VIP system delivery to Jet Aviation is in June 2020. This green BBJ787 aircraft is in addition line-fitted with a humidifier in flight deck.

“We are honoured and will work closely with Jet Aviation in this Boeing BBJ787 humidification system installation,” says Peter Landquist, Vice President Sales & marketing of CTT Systems. “The Boeing BBJ787 is perhaps the most advanced system we have developed. Our BBJ787-system together with standard-fitted climate improvement features on the 787, such as higher cabin pressure, secures World’s best VIP cabin climate, optimized so travelers can thrive during flight and arrive at their destination relaxed, rested and ready to perform.

Stephane Richard, Completions Program Director at Jet Aviation Basel, says, “exceeding our customers’ expectations is always our top priority and we believe humidification greatly increases the comfort and well-being of passengers on board. We chose CTT’s IFH VIP system because we know it to be a robust and reliable humidification system.”

Without an efficient humidification system, the VIP cabin air is far more dehydrating than any place on Earth - below 5 % RH. This BBJ787 will have a striking humidity increase, restored to comfort and wellbeing level, to approx. 20 percent Relative Humidity (RH). VIP passengers on this Boeing BBJ787 will on long-haul flights benefit from reduced dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases) and improved wellbeing and sleep. The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system offers total anti-condensation protection.
