Nyköping, Sweden, August 23, 2005, CTT Systems today announced that it has been selected by Boeing as a supplier for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program. The CTT Zonal Drying system will be base line equipment on the aircraft and its humidifiers will be offered as an option for flight deck and crew rests. The potential total value (including after market) exceeds $250 million over the expected life of the B787 program. Boeing 787 will have the CTT Zonal Drying system as standard which will guarantee minimal build up of condensation thereby saving weight, fuel and emissions when operated by airlines. The humidifiers will be available as option for flight-deck and crew rest areas to increase the air humidity.

“This is a major milestone for CTT and we are proud to be selected as supplier for the B787 program, this is also the most significant order in CTT’s history” said Torbjörn Johansson, President of CTT Systems. By eliminating condensation in the aircraft both operational and maintenance cost will be lowered through: • lowered fuel consumption (i.e. lower aircraft weight due to elimination of accumulated water), • improved operational reliability (i.e. less corrective maintenance) • consistent insulation performance (i.e. water reduces insulation performance), Further, the aircraft residual value will be protected or even improved due to reduced corrosive impact over the years. Reduced fuel burn (due to lowered aircraft weight) also has a positive impact on the environment. The launch of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which enters commercial service in 2008, has been the most successful in Boeing's history. Currently, Boeing has 257 total orders and commitments from 21 airlines worldwide. The lower weight, superior strength and maintenance advantages of the 787's composite fuselage allows for higher humidity inside the cabin, larger windows, better air filtration and lower cabin altitude, which translates to more comfort and a physiologically less stressful trip for passengers.
