Nyköping, January 31, 2011, – Greenpoint Technologies based in Kirkland, WA USA, has ordered a CTT Cair™ System to be installed during spring/summer 2011 on a VVIP Boeing BBJ3 aircraft. Greenpoint Technologies is one of the major completion centres in USA.

Cair™ is focused on the passengers’ health and comfort by providing humidification of the extremely dry aircraft cabins without causing condensation. Cair™ gives a pleasant cabin relative humidity of around 20% - compared to 3-5% without - for the passengers, thereby reducing dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases).

"In response to our customer’s requirements for cabin comfort, we are pleased to be integrating CTT’s Cair™ system to this VVIP BBJ3. CTT has been highly responsive to our engineering and support requirements as we assessed the capabilities of the Cair™ system and prepare for its installation. By adding the BBJ3 to each company’s portfolio, CTT and Greenpoint together attain a substantial milestone in the VVIP air jet market, “states Mike Weisner, Chief Customer Engineer, Greenpoint Technologies.

“This is the first order on our Cair™ system from Greenpoint Technologies and the first time we supply the system to a BBJ3 aircraft” says Ulf Liljenberg, Vice President Sales & Marketing of CTT Systems.” We are very proud to get this order from Greenpoint and are excited to be able to work together on this and potential future projects. The market for large VIP aircraft is picking up momentum after a slower period due to the financial recession and several aircraft have recently been placed or will be placed in the near future” continues Ulf Liljenberg.

The dual-purpose system increases humidity for greater comfort and incorporates the Zonal Drying™ System to counter condensation problems.

CTT’s Zonal Drying™ System has been selected as basic equipment for the new B787 “Dreamliner” and CTT’s humidifiers are options in crew rest compartments and on flight deck. The A380 offers CTT’s humidifiers as option in crew rest compartments. CTT will also supply the Zonal Drying™ system and the Cair™ system for the A350 aircraft, as options.
