Focus on New Products for Pantry, Tabletop, and Home

Los Angeles (August 23, 2011)—Cube Marketplace is sorting through our new arrivals in the thick of summer’s heat. Here’s a run-down of our favorite items that are ALL NEW to the site! All items will be available for purchase through Holiday, 2011.

FOR YOUR PANTRY

Say bye-bye to food allergies with these incredible imported Italian alternative grain pastas from Morelli. From Quinoa Linguini to Kamut Fuisili, reintroduce the love of carbs into your life without the stressful fear of repercussions! $5-$6 each

When we say you’ve never tried a jam as tasty as Scyavuru’s Ribera Strawberry Jam ($12), we’re not messing with you. And while we’re on the topic of incredible jams, this Pink Apple Jam from Le Spiazzete utilizes pink apple (mela rosa) from Italy’s Sibillini mountains that are included in Slow Food’s arc of taste. These jams are so good that you may want to relinquish your peanut butter forever, and just call your sandwiches “J’s”

Here at Cube Marketplace, we do enjoy a tasty snack. Our current obsession? These deliciously addictive crunchy yet chewy hazelnut cookies from Nocciolini di Chivasso. $7

FOR YOUR TABLE

We’re loving our shipment of gorgeous items from LA’s own Bauer Pottery. From Bauer Classics, like their colorful pasta bowls to their brilliant new line of Russell Wright American Modern classics, these pieces are true modern heirlooms that will grace your table for years to come.

Drinking just got even more fun: Wine Punts are made from used wine bottles and come in a variety of glass colors. We love to mix and match on a long communal table. $8 each.

A boatload of fun new items from Portland’s Pigeon Toe Ceramics promise to add handmade beauty to your tabletop. One of our favorites? Pigeon Toe’s Striped Vase, with its minimalist aesthetic yet substantial form. $90

FOR YOUR HOME

Another brand new brand at Cube Marketplace: Roost! With so many fun pieces for tabletop and home, it’s hard to pick a favorite, but a couple of our highlights:

A Pair of Piggy Bookends will stylishly sandwich your Pork & Sons cookbook, and add some adorable to your kitchen. $116.

Bone China Farmers’ Market Baskets are just about the cutest way to display fresh fruit that we have seen lately. $12 each.

One of the loveliest ideas anyone has had in a long time: 50% of profits from the sale of Bird Project Glycerin Soaps benefit groups working on oil spill clean up from BP’s deep water Horizon oil spill disaster.  Each black glycerin soap surrounds a handmade white ceramic keepsake bird, so you can “put a bird on…” your sink. $24

We’re tea towel junkies over here at Cube, and these new cuties from Leah Duncan and Kauniste really get our motors running. Illustrated Scandinavian cinnamon rolls, anyone? $16-$18 each

Snooty Roots Candles were developed using the same technology that casinos use to get rid of cigarette smoke, so you know they’ve got to be good! Bad kitchen smells, say bye-bye. Instead, of salmon smell, why not welcome your guests with such scents as French Cotton or Citron? We think they’ll appreciate the gesture! $36 each.

Hi-res images of all items are available per request. CubeMarketplace.com is happy to participate in product giveaways per individual blog request. Please contact Jessie@DivinePasta.com with any hi-res photo requests and to coordinate giveaways.
