Cummins Names Kelley Tate to Lead Power Systems Distributor Business
BRISTOL, PA. (May 8, 2013) – Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) has named Kelley Tate President of Cummins Power Systems. Tate will succeed Scott Patrohay.
Headquartered in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Cummins Power Systems serves a broad region of the Eastern United States, including the Bermuda Islands, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Northern Virginia, New Jersey, New York City Metro Area and Washington, DC.

Power Systems operates ten service branches, three marine locations and one central distribution warehouse to serve and support a diverse base of Cummins and Onan customers - playing an important role in growing our North American Distribution business and contributing to the success of our customers.

Since joining Cummins Power Systems in March of 2011, Tate has served as VP, Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, he helped establish internal controls and process improvements that have allowed the business to remove risks and more efficiently serve its customers.
Prior to joining Cummins Power Systems, Tate worked for General Electric (GE) for ten years in a variety of roles gaining increased levels of responsibility as a result of his successful drive for improved levels of performance, including Controller, Acquisition and Pricing Leader and Finance Manager/CFO - Energy Services Business. Prior to joining GE, Tate spent time with JP Morgan Chase in New York and served as Vice President and CFO for Quorum Federal Credit Union.
Tate graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. of Accounting from The King’s College, he is currently completing his Executive MBA at the University of Michigan. Tate brings over 20 years of Corporate and Business Operations Finance experience to the Company. Tate and family will continue to reside in Pennsylvania.
