Entries have come from as far afield as Mexico, the USA, China and Brazil, with students giving the professionals a run for their money in this exciting contest. When thecompetition closes on 28 February, it will be a difficult task for our international panel of judges – influential contemporary artists, designers, creative paper professionals and editors – to select the prize-winners.

The three professional artworks that have set the pace – by French contemporary artist Kriki, studio Bonsoir Paris and Japanese paper artist Kako Ueda  – will be given as the top prizes and have certainly set a high benchmark that competitors are determined to exceed.

About Curious Collection

Through collaborations and contests, Curious Collection provides a showcase for international talent and is a source of inspiration for designers embarking on creative journey. It provides an international platform where members can freely express themselves, inspire each other and explore their potential.

About the New SKIN Colours

The virtue of SKIN is its homogeneity, intense matt colours, smooth and distinctively tactile surface and resistance to rubbing or finger marking. The four new colours – EMERALD, PURPLE, GREY and INDIGO - were inspired by trend forecaster

Edelkoort Studio to reflect the latest in contemporary fashion and design.

They join eight other SKIN colours, and already specified by luxury brand leaders. All are suitable for most print techniques and have excellent printability. The ultra matt SKIN range complements the refined Metallics, soft Touch, innovative Cosmic and eye-catching translucent papers that make up the Curious Collection.
