Marshall Perrin and Costas Ziozis join Customers Bank

Wyomissing, PA,  (February 20, 2014) – Customers Bank added two commercial banking veterans of the New York Metropolitan area with more than 50 years of combined experience to join the bank’s Private and Commercial Banking Division in New York City.

Marshall L. Perrin and Costas Ziozis have both been named executive vice president, managing director and Co-Heads of CB Private and Commercial Banking, partnering with George Maroulis, executive vice president and Head of CB Private and Commercial Banking, to lead the bank’s growth in New York market. The growing division presently consists of three banking groups.

“It is a big win for Customers Bank to have Marshall and Costas join the team,” said Maroulis. “Both are seasoned middle-market veteran bankers that bring a wealth of relationships, market insight and unparalleled experience to the underserved middle size market.”

Perrin has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently serving as senior vice president at BHI USA, New York, where he helped expand a new market segment – targeting companies in the $5 million to $2 billion sales range within the New York Metropolitan market. Prior to BHI USA, Perrin was a senior vice president and managing director at Herald National Bank. Before joining Herald, Perrin was a senior vice president and area director for Citibank’s Manhattan based middle-market segment. Prior to Citi he ran a middle market and mezzanine group at Atlantic Bank of NY after 15 years at National Westminster Bank.

Costas Ziozis brings over 23 years of experience in the commercial banking sector to Customers Bank. Most recently Ziozis worked alongside Perrin at BHI USA as senior vice president. At BHI USA, Ziozis and Perrin developed the bank’s middle market lending group, with an emphasis on providing full relationship banking services, including a broad range of depository and ancillary products.

Prior to BHI USA, Ziozis was a managing director and senior vice president at Herald National Bank, where he worked with Perrin to organize a full-service banking team to provide commercial and private banking services to middle-market size companies, their owners and key employees. His prior experience includes senior positions at Citibank, ABN AMRO, and Atlantic Bank of New York. Ziozis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from St. John’s University in New York City, and has successively completed a number of bank formal credit training programs.

Customers Bank’s CB Private and Commercial Banking New York Metro Division maintains a loan production office and representative office at 99 Park Avenue in Manhattan. Its staff provides services in corporate cash management, commercial and industrial lending, commercial and residential real estate lending, credit cards and merchant processing, business and private personal banking through the Bank’s Rye Brook, NY, branch using a single point of contact model.
