AB Custos to establish investment collaboration

AB Custos to establish investment collaboration AB Custos and the American-based Explorer Global Investments have reached a preliminary agreement to invest approximately MSEK 400 in small companies in the information technology (IT) and Internet growth fields. These investments will mainly focus on service providers, certain business-to-business segments and distressed situations. A large proportion of these investments will be made in collaboration with Acando. The identification and evaluation of potential investments and the management of existing holdings will be handled by a management company in which Magnus Stuart has been appointed President. Mr. Stuart was most recently employed at Ven Capital AB, a subsidiary of Investment AB Öresund. "Because of our good experience of building up Acando, as well as the large flow of business ideas both from Acando and via our own network, we have a very favorable view of the investment collaboration we are now establishing," said Christer Gardell, CEO of Custos.
