Custos recalls the offer to acquire 2,000,000 series A shares in Perstorp On January 29, 1998 AB Custos announced a public offer to the shareholders of Perstorp AB to acquire 2,000,000 series A shares for a price of SEK 180 per share. A prospectus regarding the offer was made public and sent to all holders of series A shares in Perstorp at February 19, 1998. The offer was conditioned upon Custos receiving at least 2,000,000 series A shares in Perstorp. At the closing of the application period, March 13, 1998, less than 2,000,000 had been submitted for participation. The Board of Directors of Custos has thus decided to recall the offer. "We believe that Perstorp is a company with substantial potential for value creation. Obviously this view is shared by the majority of the holders of series A shares.
