Jan Åkesson new CEO of Tybring-Gjedde Jan Åkesson is leaving his current position as Chief Investment Officer of AB Custos to become the new Chief Executive Officer of C. Tybring-Gjedde ASA, one of Custos' portfolio companies. This became effective as of December 2, 1999. "Jan Åkesson has led the turn-around work in Tybring-Gjedde from Custos' side and is a natural and good solution to the company's need for a new CEO", comments Christer Gardell, CEO of Custos. Tybring-Gjedde is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and has a market value of approximately NOK 500 million. The company has a turnover of NOK 2 billion and is a leading provider of office supplies, of which a substantial part is e- commerce. Custos is the largest owner with 38% of the votes and capital (48% including convertibles). The market value of Custos' investment in stock and convertibles is NOK 250 million.
