Press Release from the Extraordinary General Meeting of AB Custos, February 25, 2002 Decision at the General Meeting Redemption Offer In accordance with a proposal by the Board of Directors, the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders today approved a redemption proposal. In brief, the offer means that those who are registered shareholders in Custos on February 28, 2002 will receive a redemption right for each share in Custos. Five redemption rights will entitle the holder to redemption of two Custos shares1. The redemption payment per share shall be SEK 250. In addition to the redemption payment of SEK 250 the redemption shares will be entitled to proposed ordinary dividend of SEK 14,50 per share. Timetable for the Redemption Program February 25, 2002 Last day for trading in Custos shares including redemption rights February 26, 2002 Custos shares are traded excluding redemption rights February 28, 2002 Record date for receipt of redemption rights March 7 - March 27, 2002 Trading in redemption rights March 7 - April 3, 2002 Registration period for the redemption offer April 12 - April 29, 2002 Trading in redemption shares April 19, 2002 Annual General Meeting of Custos shareholders to approve the redemption of shares etc. May 8, 2002 (prelim) Delivery of redemption payment 1) Through trading in redemption rights during the period March 7 - March 27, 2002, more than two fifths of the Custos shares held on the record date may be registered for redemption.
