Cox Media Group expands its agreement with Cxense

Oslo, Norway – 21 October 2016 – Cxense ASA (OSE: CXENSE) today announced that Cox Media Group has expanded its agreement with Cxense to include video solutions.

Cox Media Group (CMG), a subsidiary of American conglomerate Cox Enterprises, currently includes 14 broadcast television stations and one local cable channel, 59 radio stations, seven daily newspapers, and more than a dozen non-daily publications, as well as more than 100 digital services.  CMG currently operates in more than 20 media markets and reaches approximately 52 million Americans weekly, including more than 31 million TV viewers, more than 3.5 million newspaper readers, and more than 14 million radio listeners.

CMG has licensed Cxense Video for indexing, search and recommendations of video content in order to drive consumption, engagement and monetization. The agreement represents the second expansion with CMG, which signed an initial agreement for Cxense’s display advertising optimization solution in February 2016 and added the Cxense Data management and Personalisation software suite in June. The Cxense solutions enable CMG to offer more relevant online experiences to its readers and viewers, and to achieve higher conversion rates for its advertising customers.
