Mats Alders, president and CEO, resigned from the Cybercom Group. A new CEO will be appointed as soon as possible. Alders will hold his position until the appointment.

Mats Alders joined Cybercom in 1998 and stepped into the CEO position in 2000. ”Mats effectively navigated Cybercom through the consulting sector’s highs and lows,” says Per-Eric Fylking, board chairman. “At the same time, he successfully strengthened Cybercom’s position within IT and telecom. First and foremost, the board thanks Mats for an outstanding job during his many years with the company. We consider this move to be a natural development in his career.” Alders will be the CEO of Metronome, a Scandinavian film and TV production company owned by Schibsted and Endomol. “I participated in a stimulating, fantastic journey with Cybercom,” says Alders. “Together with extraordinary efforts on the part of all employees, we developed the operation into an attractive consultancy with global delivery capabilities for IT and telecom. Cybercom is now heading in the right direction and has great prospects going forward. Now it’s time for me to take on new challenges – this time in a new sector, which weighed strongly in my decision.” “The board started recruitment for a new CEO who can carry on the drive for continuous growth and profitability and thus establish Cybercom as the leading company within its selected operations areas,” says Fylking.
