Cyber Com boosts its position within telecoms by acquiring management company StreamIT Cyber Com, the consulting company, is providing its strong telecoms operations with a further boost by acquiring StreamIT AB. With 17 employees, StreamIT AB possesses longstanding experience and exceptional skills within telecoms and IT with an emphasis on strategy and business development. "Cyber Com is a very strong telecoms player today, particularly within billing/customer support and developing our customers' telecoms products. Our priority customer segments are telecoms operators and the telecoms industry. The acquisition of StreamIT is now providing us with the skills we need within telecoms management too. This will enable us to secure more numerous, bigger deals in the future," says Bengt Levin, business area manager for telecoms at Cyber Com. StreamIT AB was founded in 1997 and employs 17 people today, many of whom previously worked for Unisource. The company is owned by its seven founders, who all work at the company. Key accounts include Telia, Ericsson and Telenordia. In 2000, the company´s net sales amounted to SEK 26 million with an operating profit of SEK 4.8 million. The acquisition was partly financed by a new share issue of Cyber Com shares. The purchase price is broken down into two parts - a fixed part and a supplementary purchase price. The fixed purchase price entails goodwill in the amount of SEK 24 million. "Our new colleagues from Cyber Com possess the very best expertise in their areas too.
