Attn: News Manager/Editor: Appointments Cyber Com recruits another key person for banking and finance venture Cyber Com's investment in the banking and finance market in its e-Business business area is now being further strengthened by the recruitment of Björn Julin as business developer. Björn Julin has worked on IT questions since 1972 and has a long career with the Skandia Group behind him. He joins Cyber Com from SkandiaBanken, where he has been responsible for the basic IT architecture which has enabled the development of the customer interface from a telephone bank to the Internet and to Wap without changes to the underlying system. He was also responsible for developing SkandiaBanken's self-service functions such as the interactive voice response system Talsvar and the Internet. SkandiaBanken's Internet service, which came on stream in October 1996, has attracted considerable attention over the years and has on several occasions been awarded a prize as Sweden's best Internet bank. For example, the journal Privata Affärer named SkandiaBanken Bank of the Year 2000 for the third year running. With his solid expertise in IT and the banking sector, Björn Julin will be a key person in Cyber Com's investment at e-Business in the banking and finance market. In this business area Cyber Com sells packaged offers and advanced consulting services in the commercial, manufacturing industry and banking/finance markets. The business area currently employs the services of about 150 consultants. Cyber Com offers integrated holistic expertise in e-Business and Telecom, with cutting-edge expertise in modern system development and project management. Its net sales for the first nine months of 2000 were SEK 256.3 m (132.2 m), with profit after financial items of SEK 18.3 m (7.7 m).
